From Demo Day to the World Stage |
|
Four Robolabs teams bound for the World Championship. A Demo Day for the books. A historic first VEX AI tournament. And a new season just around the corner.
April has been packed with action, momentum, and milestones. From celebrating our incredible Class of 2025 to hosting our first-ever VEX AI tournament, we’ve seen firsthand the power of persistence, experimentation, and community. As we look ahead to the 2025–2026 game reveals and prepare to send four Robolabs teams to Dallas next week, we couldn’t be prouder of the journey so far—or more excited for what’s next. |

Every year, Demo Day offers a special opportunity for the RoboLabs community: a final chance to compete, experiment, and showcase progress before the season ends and a new game is released.
Held on April 26th at our Dublin facility, this year’s Demo Day delivered excitement and innovation across both VEX IQ and VEX V5 programs. Students tested last-minute strategies, made bold robot modifications, and put their ideas to the test in a dynamic and high-stakes setting.
To make things even more exciting, cash prizes were awarded to top performers: |

The Class of 2025: Proud, Proven, and Headed to the Top |
|
We’re proud to celebrate the accomplishments of our graduating seniors in the Class of 2025. These students have achieved remarkable success, gaining admission to highly competitive universities and top-tier STEM programs.
What stands out most is their continued engagement. As seniors, they remained active members of their robotics teams, contributing in meaningful ways—through design, strategy, programming, and leadership. Their sustained commitment to learning and team involvement is a major reason behind their exceptional outcomes.
Their journeys are a powerful reminder of how competitive robotics can shape a student’s academic and professional future, and how important it is to stay engaged through the final stretch of high school.
We’re honored to have played a part in their growth and are excited to see the impact they’ll make next. |

Autonomous Ambitions: VEX AI Tournament Recap |
|
On April 12th, Robolabs hosted its first-ever VEX AI Tournament, marking an important milestone as we continue to lead at the frontier of autonomous robotics.
VEX AI is a fast-growing platform that pushes robotics into fully autonomous systems. While still evolving, it presents exciting challenges and enormous potential—and we’re proud to help bring it to our local community.
Our team, 3303X, earned the Think Award, which recognizes excellence in autonomous programming. The tournament also served as a critical checkpoint as we prepare for the VEX AI World Championship in Houston this June.
We’re excited to continue building this program and expanding opportunities for students to explore AI-driven robotics.

Get Ready: New VEX Games Launching Next Week |
|
The wait is nearly over. At the upcoming VEX World Championship in May’s first week, the new competition games for the 2025–2026 season will be officially revealed:
VEX V5 Robotics Competition: Pushback VEX IQ Robotics Competition: Mix and Match
These game reveals are one of the most anticipated moments of the year. With tens of thousands of teams worldwide, the VEX community thrives on innovation, collaboration, and creativity—and each new challenge is an open invitation to grow as engineers and problem-solvers.
At Robolabs, we’re just as excited as our students to dive into the design and strategy process. We’ll begin brainstorming, prototyping, and building right away, and we look forward to guiding our teams through the next chapter of hands-on learning and competitive excellence. |
