Robolabs on the World Stage |
This past month, Robolabs teams made their mark at the 2025 VEX Robotics World Championship, the largest robotics competition on the planet—with thousands of teams from across the globe.
We proudly sent three teams to represent Robolabs, and their performance was nothing short of inspiring: Team 3457F advanced to the Quarterfinals in their division, showcasing grit, -innovation, and high-level competitive strategy.
Team 3134R earned the coveted Inspire Award, presented to teams that exemplify positive impact, team spirit, and dedication to community outreach and STEM advocacy.
Team 3848U graciously welcomed several students from fellow Robolabs teams, giving them the chance to experience VEX Worlds firsthand. Their generosity and team spirit made a lasting impact—inspiring others to aim higher and dream bigger.
Meanwhile, excitement is already building for next season: our very own One World Signature Event at UC Berkeley was officially announced as part of the 2025–2026 Signature Event lineup. Mark your calendars—One World returns in November 2025!
To top it off, VEX revealed brand new games for both V5RC and VIQRC, launching us into a thrilling new chapter of engineering, design, and teamwork. Scroll down for full game reveal videos and early insights. |

One World at UC Berkeley Returns as a Signature Event |
We’re proud to announce that Robolabs’ One World at UC Berkeley has once again been selected as an official Signature Event for the 2025–2026 season! Announced live at the World Championship, the return of One World was met with incredible excitement. As a World-qualifying competition hosted at one of the top public universities in the world, One World blends elite robotics with an inspiring campus experience.
At our last event in 2023, UC Berkeley Chancellor Rich Lyons and College of Engineering Dean Tsu-Jae Liu welcomed teams with powerful messages about innovation, access, and the future of STEM. The event drew teams from across the U.S. and internationally—and we expect this year to be even bigger.
Mark your calendars. The world is coming to Berkeley. |

Welcome to the Arena: 25–26 Games Revealed |
This season’s new games have officially launched, setting the stage for another year of strategy, design, and innovation. |
Teams score points by placing red or blue Blocks into goals, controlling goal zones, and parking their robots in designated zones at the end of each match. Robots can hold and move unlimited Blocks, creating fast-paced back-and-forth action. Strategic control, teamwork, and quick decision-making are key to winning this exciting new game. |
In this season’s game, teams work together to stack colorful pins and beams into goals to score points. The challenge rewards both creativity and collaboration, as teams aim to build multi-colored stacks and place them in strategic locations on the field. Each match is 60 seconds long and played in alliances of two robots.
Both games promise exciting new opportunities for creative engineering and teamwork.
